Sometimes travel isn't about the month-long slow burn; sometimes it's a 72-hour sprint. My recent work trip to Toronto was exactly that.

Toronto in February is brisk, but the city's "Path" system and warm hospitality make it manageable. Even on a short trip, I found time to appreciate the diversity of the local food scene and the impressive skyline.

Productivity on the Go

Maintaining a backend engineering workflow while traveling requires the right setup and the right environment. When I'm not in a hotel for work, I use Kindred to find spaces that actually have a desk and a kitchen, making it much easier to stay on top of my projects.

Toronto's tech scene is booming, and it's easy to see why. It’s a clean, efficient, and highly connected hub for anyone in the software industry.
